Visit the Kariakoo Market

This is a bustling market and you'll always find the best rates if you're good at making bargains! This is a really busy market with lots of people milling about. Make sure that you don't carry valuables with you.

Explore the Askari Monument

The city has historic monuments some are from World War I! It is a very popular destination and is located near the harbour.

The National Museum

Museum Sara is a great place to get to know the country’s culture. It has an interesting collection of exhibits and is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the evening.

Coco Beach

There is a lot to do on this beach and you find a crowd enjoying themselves. There is music,  street food, snacks, and concerts held on the beach. It's a very exciting place to be on the weekend. However, swimming is not recommended in these waters.

If you are fond of swimming, this is the island you want to visit. The warm Indian Ocean is welcoming and it's a fantastic place to snorkel. You can also find great places to eat on this Island.
